Week 15 - 4 Months
Hey guys!
So this week was a pretty slow week. We had a zone conference where we heard President Pearson talk about ways we can make lessons more personal and what not and it was very good! None of us knew he was going over the Restoration until afterwards! He is so good at asking inspired questions and making it personal! Then we heard the Zone Leaders talk on how we could get investigators to church without forcing them to church and what not. It was all good until I was up there as a demonstration for them and Elder Harris had to guide me up on to the stage with my eyes closed. It was smooth sailing UNTIL I tripped on the last step and went flying forward and landed face first on the stage in front of EVERYONE!! It hurt so bad and it was hilarious! After we all got on stage the zone leaders asked how we all got on stage and I was the first one to say, "Well I fell onto the stage so I win." Made everyone laugh like always haha!
We were told that we can no longer use backpacks because it looks unprofessional. We get to keep our bicycles which is very good! I'm going to trade my back for a taller one that way I'm not kneeing myself in the face every time I pedal the thing!
Went on trade offs with Elder Harrah and this investigator that they have, Brother Spooner, taught us the Restoration! He is such a cool guy! He helped us fix Elder Harrah's bicycle tire too!
Spiritual message for the week. Count your many blessings. The things that you could be praying for might already be answered so count ALL your blessings. You never know, you might find some cool ones too.
How's everyone doing on their Book of Mormon reading that I challenged them to do? I hope everyone is reading it! The Book of Mormon will help you guys through anything!!

Week 14
Hey Guys!
So this week has been pretty good! Elder Harris and I taught this lady and we extended a baptismal date to her after the first lesson and she accepted right away! It was amazing! PDays are different now that there are more missionaries in this area trying to email at the church so we see alot of missionaries here! There was a baptism here saturday and sunday after church. One was a little girl and one was a young man about 23. They both are great additions to the Spanish Town 1st Ward. Our bishop is the best gospel principles teacher! He is very good at teaching with questions! Had some bike problems but only tire problems so not so bad. I love when people think that we hypnotize people! Mormons "hypnotize" people and that the Book of Mormon is false or written by people today. Even if God told some of these people that this Church is true they would still say no to it. They tell us that to our face and it is very sad to know that they are rejecting Christ and the Father... Wish they would just listen to us but oh well..
The place we are staying in is a lot better than Junction! It's flat and
i love it!! No more up and down hills all day everyday! But i miss the
people of Junction..
Elder Harris and i are having a blast! We love the work and will continue to work hard.
The Lord will bless us in ways that we might not see or
understand at the moment but hold on to them. They will help you in so
many ways. I love this work and i love this calling.
Stay strong in the Lord and feast upon His words!

Week 13 - Idaho Elders taking on Spanish Town
So this week i am emailing from Spanish Town with Elder Harris! We talked about being companions in the MTC and it has already happened!! Okay so I had to attend a trainers meeting on Wednesday at the mission home in Kingston and it was the weirdest thing for me to tell people that i was going to be training some one that was in the MTC with me! Anyways so after the meeting we all load up in a bus to go to our new areas and things like that with about 15 of us in the bus. We stop somewhere to eat at about 1 ish and then we take off again to drop people off! Well I was the second to last one to get dropped off... We drove passed my area TWICE!! They were dropping other missionaries off before I could get dropped off! Its alright though because I got to talk to Elder Kirby who is hilarious! So I didn't get to Spanish Town till about 9 that night! I unpacked and then hit the hay haha. The next morning Elder Harris and I worked out for my first time since the MTC and I about died.... The week went fairly well. I am excited for this transfer though!

Things are starting to lighten my mental load and I am loving it!
Don't go riding on the long black train!

Transfer Day
Im getting transferred to Spanish Town and my
companion will be Elder Harris! We were in the
MTC together! I'm sooo excited to see him again!!
Week 12 in Jamaica - Leaving Junction
Okay so this week has been crazy!
So we will be going to see Kory South in Treasure Beach so that will be fun! Tuesday we didn't get to go out because I had to take another one of the stupid ringworm pills which put me out of commission again... But hey the ringworm is gone now so all is well! We did a lot of cleaning that day as well because we stayed inside! Wednesday we had district meeting and we said good bye to one of the Zone leaders whose name is Elder Christensen. Not my companion though so don't worry haha! He is going to the Bahamas! Lucky.... Anyways! Thursday we had more service for the blind member, Brother Collins, at his house and his green house! We had to move small trees from the inside to the outside so they could redo the tarps and things. While doing so we found snakes!! And frogs but SNAKES! We took pictures so i will load them! Afterwards we got fed some really nice pork by this lady who really knows how to cook! Friday was a pretty average day filled with contacting people and asking them about the Book of Mormon and inviting them to become members if they were to find out if the Book is true. Then that night we had a branch fireside where we watched a video on the first Church members here in Jamaica! It was a really good video and it just shows that people really can change when they are looking for truth!

Okay so if you are standing up right now you need to sit down because i have some really big news! Satyrday was transfer calls. I am going to Spanish Town to finish training Elder Harris!!! I was in the MTC with Elder Harris so this is going to be awesome to serve with him in Spanish Town! I can not wait to see him again! I leave Junction this week! Ahhhhh I'm so happy and sad because I am leaving the branch.... I love this little branch here in Junction and I will miss them very much! I bore my testimony and broke the news to them and every one was shocked! I will miss them all.. Later on Saturday I went with Elder Callister into his area and we had an awesome, spirit filled lesson. I love sharing this Gospel with every one that is willing to listen. I love watching peoples eyes light up when they realize that they have found truth. I love watching the Holy Ghost work in peoples lives. I love this work and I am glad to be a representative of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Redeemer.
I love you all back home and I hope and pray that people are reading from the Book of Mormon because it WILL change your life for the better!
Elder Wilding, out.
