Hey guys!
Monday was crazy! We started off the day with a huge Zone Basketball game haha then went to the huge market in Kingston and shopped for really cheap food like mangoes, potatoes, bananas, etc.. Then we emailed and went and tried to see people.
Tuesday we tried to see Bishop Singh but he was busy. We wanted to take him to a members house who lost her leg so she could get a blessing and to also talk about shut ins for her. We had a Restoration lesson with a lady named Collaine. It was really cool. She has been taught by missionaries in the past too. While we were at Brother Smith's we got a call from the Assistants. There was a bunch of Emergency Transfers. Elder Christensen is now with Elder Edwards in Boulevard. Elder Hudson and I moved from the apartment we were in to the Zone Leaders house.
Wednesday morning is when we moved out. It took most of the day then we had studies at the end of the day and helped clean up. There was some activities that night at the church too. So we went to that and I played Cricket for the first time and man is that bat heavy! My baseball instinct kicked in and I crushed a ball onto the roof of the church and it never came down...
Thursday morning we started with studies then went to see Sister Lewis. We retaught her the Restoration lesson. It was interesting to reteach a member that. But we hope that it helped her out. Afterwards we went to the Robinson's and I ended up climbing their Mango tree for a bunch of mangoes to take home! I will have to ask for the video of it. We tried to see Sammoy but she wasn't home and the computer wasn't wanting to play the Restoration Video for the boys.
Friday morning was weekly planning. We also tried calling a bunch of people to set up appointments for the next week. That night was Friday NightActivities too. We played a lot of soccer.
Saturday morning we were supposed to do service for Sister Copeland but she wasn't home and the guy that we were supposed to help wasn't there either. So we went back and took lunch. We were supposed to go help Collaine do laundry so that she could make it to church on Sunday but she had already done it and was heading out for something. We tried stopping by Sammoy's again to watch the Video but they weren't getting home till later that night. So we went home and took studies for the last light bit of the day. Oh, and it was my 19th month mark.
Sunday I had to give a talk. I just quoted President Eyering for most of it though because he gave a talk on just what I was asked to talk on haha. After church we went to Sister Macpherson's for lunch and man is she a good cook too! After her we had interviews with President Pearson. He was about 45 minutes late for mine but that's alright! Everything runs on his time haha. After interviews we just went home for studies and such because it was getting late by that point.
I am truly grateful for the example people set in my life and in everybody else's lives all over the world. I wish some people would just open their eyes and see it haha but oh well. People also don't understand the role they have in other people's lives as well. The example you set for people around you, even when you think no one is watching, is probably the most important.
Love you all!
