Week 102

Hey guys!

Sorry this one will be short mainly because I forgot my planner at the church and it is locked inside... I use my planner to help with my emails.

I am excited to see you all! This coming week will be full of meal appointments! Yes man! Anyways, I hope everyone had a great week! Remember to Keep in touch with your Father in Heaven! He wants to talk with you just as much as you want to be alive!

Love you all!

Week 101

Hey guys!

Monday morning was Branch Coordination then we tried to see Brother Roydell again but he was busy. Don't remember what else happened that day.

Tuesday morning we were supposed to see a lady named Tashana but she didn't come to Mandeville because of the rain. So we went to Sister Thompson's work to pick up my umbrella because I left it at Sister Nixon's on Sunday. Afterwards we went to have lunch with the Sisters because it was Sister Smith's Birthday. Elder Scheese from Santa Cruz floured her with a ton of flour! I also threw on a pound of flour just for fun! It is a Jamaican culture to flour people on their birthday. We then headed out to Lancaster to see Sister Powell and CJ. When we got there she took us around back and picked us some oranges and some tangerines. She was a lot of different trees in her back yard! Avocado, banana, orange, tangerine, mango, breadfruit, and ackee. After talking with her and CJ we went to the church to have dinner that Sister Bodley prepared for us. We also practiced a couple songs for Zone Conference.

Wednesday was Zone Conference. Afterwards we had interview with President. My interview, literally, lasted about three minutes. Pres opened with a prayer, then on of the very first things that came out of his mouth was, "Elder Wilding, you time is up! The mission will miss you but it's time for you to go home!" It was all said with smiles and everything but man, I was not expecting it from Pres! Ever since then I just haven't felt the same. But so it goes I guess.

Thursday we went out to see Sister Pinnock and her daughter. While we were there her daughter wouldn't come out of her room so I was trying to get her out of her room while Elder Cluff talked with Sister Pinnock. It was fun messing around with Ahkelia; she took my umbrella through her door and was trying to poke me with it through the bottom of the door then she took $200 JMD from me as I was trying to bribe her to come out... After them we went back into town to try and have a Book of Mormon Table but it was raining... So we walked down to see if we could catch Brother Roydell at work but we actually ran into him on his way to get gas for some one. We talked with him briefly before we headed to Book of Mormon Club. No one showed up for that but there were three people at Institute so we stayed for that instead.

Friday was Weekly Planning. Afterwards we went to go see Hayley. We taught her the Law of Chastity and the Word of Wisdom. She took it a lot better than we thought! She also shared an experience with us that took us by surprise! The Gospel has changed her life so much already and she hasn't even been able to make it to church yet! We just have to get her parents into the lessons and she would be baptized! Fingers Crossed! We then headed to the church for Friday Night Activity but it was cancelled because of rain.

Saturday was a Relief Society Activity for the District. All the Missionaries that are in the Mandeville District came up and there was food, games, cool old stuff, old time games, and more food haha! That was an all day activity and we even had investigators there! It was fun to see them get to know the members outside of church!

Sunday was church. I set up an appointment for after Sister Nixon fed us but it didn't happen because of the rain. I hate when it rains here. Every one Cancels stuff because of it. ANd it is the rainy month...

But I am grateful for the time that I have been able to serve and get to know the people here in Mandeville! I am grateful for the people that have had an impact on my life! I love you all!

Week 100

Hey guys!

Monday was pretty boring. We tried to have Branch Coordination but that didn't happen, and we also tried to have a lesson with Brother Roydell but he was too busy.. So it goes some times. It was also Elder Cluff's birthday that day.

Tuesday morning we had a lesson with a lady named Tashana. We dropped of a Book of Mormon and answered some of her questions about The Church and It's history. After that we went home for studies and lunch. Later we went out to see Sister Pinnock. It had been a while since we have seen her last so we went out. She is gong through a lot recently so hopefully we helped her out. It started to pour that evening and so our last appointments cancelled on us...

Wednesday we had District Meeting. Tried to go out and see Buxton but he got called into work that day so we weren't able to see him. We stopped by Jahvin's house before we headed back to Mandeville and it, again, started pouring rain. And Again, our appointments cancelled on us...

Thursday morning we were supposed to have a lesson with a man named Moses but he wasn't feeling too well. For lunch we all went to celebrate Sister Smith's Birthday and she got floured by Elder Scheese and I. We then tried to see a lady named Marcia but due to rain we were unable to see her. We also went out to see Hayley and Sister Thomas. We taught Hayley the Gospel of Jesus Christ lesson. Sister Thomas also fed us dinner unexpectedly! It was so good! Then, again, it started to pour so we got a ride from Brother Mark down to the main road to catch a taxi back into town.

Friday was the InterFaith Meeting in the Sister's area. It was fun we taught about the Restoration. It was raining so not very many people were there but oh well. Then we came back into town and tried to have Friday NightActivity but that didn't happen due to rain.

Saturday was General Conference! So nice to hear from the Authorities! This conference there was a lot about Ministering and about the Atonement!

Sunday again was General Conference. 12 new Temples! And the historical temples are being renovated! Church is two hours next year!

I am truly grateful for the Atonement of my Savior and for His love and mercy for us all! I know that He loves us all and that He really does want us back with Him in Heaven. Keep on the Covenant Path and do what ever it takes to get back on and stay on! I love you all!

Week 99

Hey guys!

Monday was a Zone P-Day so we had a movie day. We also went up to see Sister Ranger for her birthday. We cut open some coconuts to drink and eat the meat in it. I love Jelly!

Tuesday morning we were supposed to see a lady named Tashana but she wasn't in Mandeville so we went to the church to do a lot of mapping for Elder Cluff to get used to the area. Not gonna lie, it was pretty hard finding the motivation to do anything that day. We also were supposed to drop off a Book of Mormon at a ladies house that is close by our house but she didn't make it back from May Pen in time.

Wednesday morning was District Meeting. Then we went out to see a lady named Priscalla but she wasn't home so we stopped by Sister Thomas to invite her to go with us to see an investigator's mother to see if she would let her daughter go to church with Sister Thomas. Then we headed back to town to play football with the other Elders and some investigators. After that we went home to do studies and stuff. It was also my 23rd month mark!

Thursday we were supposed to do a Book of Mormon Table in town but it poured rain all afternoon. After it finished raining we tried to have a lesson with Gregory but the guy loves to talk so we weren't able to teach anything haha oh well. Then we went to have Book of Mormon Club but no one showed up... It was a rough day...

Friday morning we had a meeting with the Sisters and the Foisey's about another Interfaith Meeting that will be happening this Friday. Afterwards we weekly Planned. That evening we went to the church for Friday Night Activities.

Saturday we went out to Lancaster to see Sister Powell, CJ, Tianna, and Kory. We had a nice conversation and found out why she hasn't been to church in a long time. Then we came into Cedar Grove to see a lady named Sabrina who wanted a Book of Mormon. We tried to gave a lesson but she wouldn't let us haha oh well. We then went up to pick up Sister Thomas to go to our investigator's place to see them. Hayley is now able to come to church with Sister Thomas and is planning on being there for General Conference! Then we had a lesson on the Plan of Salvation with Hayley. It was awesome! She is a smart girl and believes the Book of Mormon!

Sunday was church and we didn't have a single investigator there! So it goes sometimes. After Church we had a meeting with the Sisters, the Foisey's and the Senior Sisters about the Interfaith Meeting that is coming up. We then went to try and see a man named Moses. It was raining pretty hard so we weren't able to have a lesson with him but we did drop off a Book of Mormon so he was grateful for that. We then tried to find other people to see but no one was home and it was pouring rain. So we went home and had dinner and called people for next week.

I am grateful for members that are so willing to help out with missionary work! Members are definitely the best way to go for Missionary work!

I hope every one is getting ready for the cold weather to come! Because I have been trying!

I love you All!

Week 97

Hey Guys!

First of all, Happy Birthday Zaners! Love you man! Hope you had a great 8th birthday!

Monday was Elder Hatch's last day with me! He spent time packing and cleaning up his stuff.

Tuesday I was with the other Mandeville Elders in their area and we thought that Elder Cluff would be there that night so we waited for him but never showed up.

Wednesday morning we had District Meeting then we went into my area to try and see some investigators and members but they weren't home. We then ordered food then waited for Elder Cluff to get there. When he got there we went with the other Elders to have a Family home evening with an investigator of theirs.

Thursday was a slow day. Just trying to get our feet under us because it was transfer week. Had Book of Mormon club then went to see the Watson's.

Friday we Weekly Planned. We also tried to see Malcolm but he wasn't home so we went to see Sister Thomas and Sister Ranger. Then we went back for Friday night activities.

Saturday we went out to Lancaster to see Tianna, Romane, and Eldon. We had a Book of Mormon lesson with Eldon and answered some more questions of his. On the way home we tried to see Malcolm again but he wasn't home. He was helping Sister Logan with some things at her house. We ended up seeing Hayley and having a review of the Restoration so she could understand it better. It was nice! She was connecting the dots better than before. On the way back into town we ran into Malcolm so we said hello and then headed home.

Sunday was Elder Cluff's first Sunday at Mandeville Branch and every one loved him! It will be easy handing the area over to him when I leave. After church we went to see Lennoi. He asked a lot of good questions on Adam and Eve, the Sabbath Day, and about General Conference. Afterwards we walked to Sister Nixon's for lunch then back home to make phone calls for the coming week.

I am grateful for people that will listen, understand, and help. I try my hardest to do all of that but even I need that at times! Grateful for friends and Family!

I love you guys!

Week 96

Hey guys!

Monday we went to a Family Home Evening at Sister Thomas' house.

Tuesday morning we went out to see a referral from the sisters and he is awesome! He was so interested in the Book of Mormon! He wants to learn more and he was really fast in setting up a return appointment! Afterwards we were waiting on a taxi and a lady was talking with a man about us and so we went over and helped them learn all the things that we actually belief. When we got home we took studies then went out to Lancaster to go see some of Tiana's friends. Then we stopped at Cedar Grove to see Hayley.

Wednesday morning was District Meeting at the Foisey's house. Afterwards we went to see an investigator at the park but he was late so we just talked with a ton of people. We got a bunch of peoples numbers and so on. It was very much needed to find new people!

Thursday we did the Book of Mormon Table again and it started to rain on us. Afterwards we went to see Amoi. She contacted us actually haha but yeah she wanted to clear up some confusion that she had about our church. Then we went to Book of Mormon Club. Afterwards we tried to see Wint and Israel but they weren't home.

Friday morning we got Transfer Calls. I am staying in Mandeville and I am receiving Elder Cluff. Then we went out to Old England to see Chantel and their family again. We spent most of the morning out there. I don't remember what we did after that but that evening we saw a man named Francois. After him we went to Friday Night Activity.

Saturday we Weekly Planned because we didn't do it on Friday. Then we went to Lancaster to see a kid named Eldon. Elder Hatch calls him the Joseph Smith of Jamaica. He has visited other churches but hasn't felt comfortable at any. We taught him the Restoration and he was really excited about it! He said he was gonna pray and read to find out the truth so we are pumped for him!

Sunday was Elder Hatch's last Sunday and it was good! Took lots of pictures and then went to Marisa's parents house to tour their garden. Weird I know but hey, relationships are key haha. Then we got a ride from them to Sister Nixon's for dinner. Afterwards we went home for studies and for Elder Hatch to get prepared to leave.

I am grateful for that I got to serve with Elder Hatch! He has helped me out so much! He has set a great example to me!

I hope that I can be that kind of example to other people!

Love you guys!

Week 95

Hey Guys!

Monday nothing really happened because our appointments fell through.

Tuesday morning we had a meeting with the Foisey's and the Sisters for a meeting that we were preparing for on Friday. After that we went back home and took studies and lunch. We saw a man named Billy. He is older and has some interesting beliefs but that's alright. We then went to see Irael and Wint and their family. They are a tough crowd but I love them to death!

Wednesday morning was saw Marissa before District Meeting. We taught her the Restoration and she is way smart! She connected dots fast! Then we had District Meeting. Afterwards we went out to Tiana's to go see some of her friends. We saw a man named Romane. We read some scriptures on faith and had Tiana bare her testimony on the Book of Mormon. Then we went to Sister Ranger's for lunch. We also went to see Ava. We read the Book of Mormon with her and she is progressing fairly well.

Thursday was Interviews with President Parker. I love that man and his wife! They are so cool! It's a shame that I don't have too much time left with them! Anyways, we went to see a man named Gregory. Two days before we met him a guy attacked him and he was stabbed three times but made it to a hospital and got taken care of. He has some strong faith in the Lord for protecting him and his baby momma! Then we went to Book of Mormon Club and then to the Johnson's for a Family Home Evening.

Friday was the Interfaith Meeting in the Sisters area at a small church. We just go up there to inform people on the things that we believe. Such as the Articles of Faith and the Family Proclamation. It was fun! Afterwards we went to Friday Night Activity then home.

Saturday was Weekly Planning because we didn't have time for it on Friday. Afterwards we went to see a man named Faicie. He is really cool! We introduced the Book of Mormon to him and left home one to read. We then went to see Hayley.

Sunday was Church! I love when we have a lot of investigators at church! Afterwards we read the Book of Mormon with Marissa and then went to Sister Nixon's for Dinner. After her we went to the Foisy's to watch the Face to Face with Elder Cook in Illinois. I love hearing from the Authorities!

Thank you every one for reading these! I have no clue who all reads them but you know who you are and you are the true MVPs! I love you all!

Week 94

Hey guys!

Monday I don't remember what we did. Sorry... Oh, I got to skype home to say good bye to my Brother! That's what I did haha.

Tuesday we went back out to Lancaster to see Tiana and her friends. We spent most of the morning out there. On the way back in to Mandeville we saw Hailey and read the Book of Mormon with her. That evening we went to pick up some things that other missionaries have ordered from a guy who carves stuff out of wood. Then we went home for studies.

Wednesday we went to Pipeline Road to see an Inactive member. He was cool, he faces a lot of adversity at his work. They don't like Latter-Day Saints too much here but so it goes. Went back into Mandevile for District Meeting. Afterwards we were supposed to have a lesson but that didn't happen so we went home for the night.

Thursday we went to the Richardson's for lunch. It was nice! I did all of the dishes for them and then cut open a coconut for the mother. They were all impressed by my cleaning skills and my cutting open a coconut with one chop. (Mom I won't do dishes when I get home...Just Kidding haha.) After that we went to the Square to do a Book of Mormon Stand with the other Mandeville Elders and Sisters. It was way fun! A lot of people came up to talk to us about our beliefs and everything! After that we went to see Malcolm. We talked about how we have to act on our faith then God will bless us with miracles. After him we went to the Thomas's for a Family Home Evening.

Friday morning we did some Weekly Planning. At about 1:30 we got picked up to go to Spanish Town for a Mission Conference on Saturday. That night we went to Momma Eddies for Dinner and that is the first time that I have had her food! It was so good!

Saturday we went to the church to have a Missionary Broadcast with President Nelson to all thye Missionaries in the Caribbean Area. It was rough because half of it was in Spanish. But it was really cool! The entire mission was there for it! Afterwards we had a Church Broadcast where President Nelson spoke with all the members in the Caribbean Area. That one was also in Spanish... Oh well! That night we were all shipped back to their areas. When we got home we finished our Weekly Planning.

Sunday morning we had a meeting with the Sister and the Foisey's, a senior missionary couple, about an Interfaith Meeting that we are going to be attending this Friday. After that was church. After church we went to Sister Nixon's for dinner. Later we went to see Israel and Wint with their families. That was an interesting lesson. They are so close to the truth but yet so far.

I am truly grateful for Modern Day Prophets! I had the chance to listen to the Prophet talk with missionaries and I know him to be called of God! No one can tell me or convince me otherwise!

Love you guys!

Week 93

There is another Elder Wilding in the Mission Field folks!

I first want to let my brother Elder Jeffery Wilding know how much I love him! I could'nt have asked for a better brother than him! We've had our fights and arguments but he has always been there for me! I am proud of You Elder!

Monday we went to find Elder Hatch some new shoes but didn't end up working out. That evening we went to the Johnson's for a Family Home Evening. It was a blast! We have made food with them to show them how to make stuff other than what Jamaicans know how to cook.

Tuesday we went out to Old England to see every one out there such as Chantel, Oshane, Flow, Kenisha, Simone, and Shaniel. It was fun we watched the Restoration video and they all loved it. Still not quite sure if they fully understand the Restoration yet but soon come. After them we were supposed to go to Sister Bodley's for dinner but she moved it to Saturday. So instead of going there we went to Brother Miller's house. He gave us a bunch of referrals too.

Wednesday was Zone Conference. Elder Hatch gave his last Zone Conference Testimony. It is a custom here in the Mission that in your last transfer's Zone Conference you bare your testimony. It's crazy to think that next transfer I will be doing that!... After Conference we went home to get some studies in and then went to see Sister Thomas for a Family Home Evening. We played games with a bunch of youth in the area.

Thursday we went out to Tiana's house and walked the streets with her to talk to people that she knows. She is also wanting to go on a mission so it was good for her. She still has a couple years before she can go but good preparation. After her we went to Sister Ranger's. Later we went to Book of Mormon Club.

Friday was Weekly Planning and I am grateful for it because while we were planning it started to pour rain outside! Afterwards we had a lesson with Ava before Friday Night Activities.

Saturday morning we went to a place to eat breakfast with the sisters because it was Sister Dodd's Birthday. When we got back we had studies then went to see Malcom and asked him to pray about September 15th for his baptismal date. We then went to see Hailey and her brother. We talked about the Restoration. We then went to see Sister Thomas and Dedranel. We talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Dedranel. She is an unbaptized member. Later we met with the other Mandeville Elders and Sisters for dinner at the church that Sister Bodley made for us.

Sunday was my 22nd Month Mark and Elder Jeffery Wilding's Farewell! That's all I could think about all day! After church we went to Sister Nixon's for lunch and every one got flouor dumped on them! I went my whole mission without getting flour dumped on me! It is an old Jamaican Tradition that on your birthday you get flour dumped on you. Missionaries picked it up and ran with it... I have pictures of it but they are not on my camera they are on Sister Smith's camera. Afterwards we went to see Ahkeem and Ahkelia Pinnock. We watched two talks. One by President Monson and one by Elder Callister.

I am truly grateful for this time that I have had to serve here in Mandeville! I love the Branch and the people here! I can't wait for Jeff to get out to New Zealand and start this wonderful work! Love you all! But more importantly, I love you Elder Jeffery Wilding!

Week 92

Hey guys!

Monday was Zone P-Day! Afterwards we went to Jahvin's house for a Family Home Evening.

Tuesday we went out to Old England to see Chantel, Flow, and Kenisha. With Chantel we talked about baptism by correct authority and the Holy Ghost. With Flow and Kenisha we just read from the Book of Mormon. After them we went to Sister Bodley's house for Dinner. We then went to see Wint and Israel. We used Doctrine and Covenants to answer their questions about the Spirit World. It was so cool to use modern day revelation to answer their questions!

Wednesday was District Meeting. Afterwards we went and saw Malcom and talked about Gospel Dispensations. It was cool because we used a Liahona article to show him. I don't remember what all happened that day. Sorry..

Thursday we went up to see Sister Ranger. We were hoping that her daughter and her friend were there but they weren't. We read the Book of Mormon with her and then said a prayer with her friend. We tried to see Ava but we ended up seeing Marissa instead! We read three chapters with her and she loves it! She loves how it is more prophets testifying! After her wen went to Book of Mormon Club. We helped Brother Prichard with some stuff as well because he is the Elders Quorum President.

Friday we helped this guy do family history at the library for a couple hours. It was weird because he loves doing it but doesn't really want to learn about the Church. Afterwards we went to the church for Coordination Meeting then celebrated the return of two Sister Missionaries. On the way home a new missionary got robbed...

Saturday we went back up to Old England to see Chantel and Flow. We talked about our Priesthood Line of Authority and how no other church can trace theirs back to Christ like we can! After them we went to see Malcom again. We talked about baptism and how he can feel if God is answering his prayers about it.

Sunday we went to Maypen for District Conference. It was cool to see all the members from Junction again! Brother Morgan is the Branch President! Afterward we went and saw a man named Shamar and his dad. His dad just kinda argued with us but oh well. When we got home we finished our weekly planning.

I am truly grateful for Charity. And for Patience. I have had to work on those a lot on my mission and now I have had to use it. Some struggles but man am I glad to be a Missionary for the Lord! No greater work than bringing souls unto Christ!

I love you guys!

Elder Wilding

Week 91

Hey guys!

I honestly don't remember what happened this week. We started off in Kingston then came back to Mandeville on Tuesday. Did a lot of cleaning around the house because we hadn't had water for a week. It took us a little bit to get back on our feet in our area to be honest. It was a rough little start but we are up and running now! Had some good lessons with Israel and Wint. They both are very promising right now.

My second to last transfer starts today and it is crazy to think that I will soon be home with all the guys and family again! Seeing everyone's homecoming pictures has been crazy!

Still trying to finish strong though!

Love you all!

Week 90

So this weeks email is gonna be short because it has been a pretty stressful week. I'm not going to go into detail mainly because they ask us not to when it comes to things like this but lets say that I have no respect for men that have no respect for women and I have no respect for women who have no respect for men. Heavenly Father is watching everyone and what they do to everyone! Judgement is going to be a scary thing for a lot of people.

Everything happens for a purpose though. The Lord and Heavenly Father are very mindful of everyone!

I love you all!

Week 88

Hey Guys! Sorry this one is late.

Monday was a lazy day. I got my hair cut by Elder Hatch. We cleaned the house then took naps haha. After that we emailed and went shopping. We saw Shernoi and talked about Prophets. She doesn't have a lot of time to meet with us after her work so that was all we got to talk about. We then went to see a man named Israel and his family; Wint, Oshane, and Mrs. Gibbs. We had a good lesson on Prophets and their holy calling.

Tuesday we went to try and see a man named Shawn but he wasn't available for a lesson. He is a taxi driver. So we saw Kenisha and talked about the Degrees of Glory. After her we had to go all the way across Mandeville to have a dinner appointment with the Sisters at Sister Bodley's house. We then went back to see Israel and his family again because they wanted us over. We taught about the Priesthood the whole time. It is interesting to teach them because they are very strong 7th Day Adventists. Awesome people and very willing to learn from us and pray about it all!

Wednesday morning was District Meeting and District Lunch. Afterwards we went and saw this boy named Courtney. He had been taught within the year by Elders but when they swapped them out he was forgotten. We reviewed what he remembered from the Restoration. Went to see Sister Ranger and her family. Her daughter invited a friend over and we talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Priesthood. We then tried talking with some of her neighbors. We headed over to Malcom's place and talked about Baptisms for the Dead and Family History Work.

Thursday was Zone Conference!

Friday was Weekly Planning. We then went out to see Kenisha and a lady named Regina who was taught by the Sisters a while back. Afterwards we came back for Friday Night Activities.

Saturday we saw Damion and talked about the Degrees of Glory. We then went to see Israel and Wint. We talked about the Priesthood and the Church being Restored through Joseph Smith. They are really cool and open about everything. They take everything and pray about it all. Afterwards we went and saw Sister Thomas and helped them do some yard work. They are an awesome family! Great examples to everyone around them!

Sunday was church and we walked there with Damion. We had 8 investigators at church! After church it started to rain on us so we sat at the church for a little bit. then went home and had lunch and studies. That night we saw the Pinnock's and talked about the Sabbath Day. The lesson went really well and we played Uno as well!

This week went by so fast! I am already half way through the Transfer. I learned a lot from the lessons we taught this week though. I am truly grateful for the Spirit and His involvement in the lessons that we had. I truly believe that He has touched the hearts of all the people that we have taught this week! I hope everyone can feel His promptings in theirs lives as well!

Love you guys!

Sunday was church and President and Sister Parker showed up. Afterwards we went to see a man named Shamar. Afterwards we went to the Nixon's for dinner. Afterwards we went out to try and see a few people but it was getting late so we just walked all the way home and did more area book.

This has probably been the busiest transfer that I have had and I love it! I love being with Elder Hatch! All he wants to do is work and it has helped me a ton!

Love you guys!

Week 86

Sorry everybody about the last two weeks!

Monday we just sat at the church all day with the Hopeton Elders and the Mandeville Sisters and emailed and played uno! That night we were supposed to see the Nixon's but they weren't home.

Tuesday we saw a man named Damian. He has seen us like three times now and I tell you what, he is an interesting man. No words to describe him haha. We read the Intro to the Book of Mormon with him. Afterwards we went and had lunch then went to the Morrison's house. They are members and we talked about them sharing the Gospel with their friends. Afterwards we went to another members house and taught a kid named Roshane who is not a member. We read the Book of Mormon with him as well. We then went to an investigators house who has been investigating for a few years now. We talked about family history work and temples.

Wednesday morning we had District Meeting then had lunch as a district. Afterwards we were supposed to have a lesson with a man named Michael but he was just leaving to go to work. We took studies because another appointment fell through as well. We went and saw Akeem and read from the Book of Mormon with him too. He is a Part member family and he was feeling pressured to be baptized so we slowed down on that. He has been doing really well with his reading too! Our appointment after him fell through so we went to a less-active members house and gave them a blessing before he went to the hospital the next day.

Thursday morning we took studies then went and saw Damian. We read more of the Book of Mormon with him. Afterwards we went to the Church to meet the Parker's! The whole Zone was there! The Parker's are way cool! Afterwards we had interviews and then a house inspection. Afterwards we went and contacted for about an hour then went to see Roshane. We read the Book of Mormon with them too!

Friday morning we had a lesson with a lady named Khyhymn. We talked about the Sabbath Day and how the Lord blessed us for keeping it holy. Afterwards we went to the house and had Weekly Planning. Later we saw a family who is less-active right now but the boy, CJ, is preparing for a mission. We talked about people they could share the Gospel with. They are a really cool family! Then we went back for Friday Night Activities.

Saturday we saw Damian and talked about our life on Earth and the Atonement. We then went to see Chantel. We answered a bunch of her questions about the Book of Mormon. We were behind schedule so we weren't able to see Kenisha but we did get to see Roshane again. We played a game about the Restoration and read the Book of Mormon with him.

Sunday was church. And Afterwards we saw a bunch of the youth in the District because of Seminary Graduation. We then went to see the Pinnock's afterwards but Akeem was a little different that night. He just wanted to get out of the house but oh well. He is young. Afterwards we spent a half hour waiting on a taxi to pick us up to take us home!

I am truly grateful for the light that the Book of Mormon brings into my life! I hope everyone has been reading theirs! I know that we all truly study the Book of Mormon it will change our lives for the better!

Love you guys!

Week 83

Hey guys!

Monday I celebrated my birthday so after we played basketball we went to the market to buy food then to a store. Afterwards we went to Devon House to buy ice cream and lunch. Afterwards we emailed and I went to buy pants, shoes, and a tie.

Tuesday morning we took all of our studies then had lunch. Afterwards we tried to see a lady named Kina but she wasn't answering her phone and neither was Kamarla. We walked up to see Deltroy but he was busy doing chores for his grandmother so we weren't able to have a lesson with him. He is in a tough situation in that home... We tried to see Quadre and Omari but Quadre's dad doesn't like the Church so it was kinda hard to have a lesson with them.

Wednesday morning we had a meeting with our bishop and we talked about what he wants us to do in the ward. Afterwards we had District Meeting. That same day we found out that President Pearson will be going home on Sunday because of his health. After lunch we went to Sister Lewis's house but we weren't able to have a lesson because they were both in and out of the yard. We then had a lesson with Collaine about the Plan of Salvation. It was really good! That night we had a nice dinner with the other Elders. Elder Jensen made pancakes and crapes for us!

Thursday morning we were supposed to help some one with their Family History work but the internet was down and they never showed up so...

Friday was Weekly Planning. After studies we went to a Baptism in Downtown Kingston. It was a great service

Saturday we went to the Office to type of a letter to the Pearson's that they wanted from all the missionaries before they left. Afterwards we tried to have a lesson with Ginelle but she wasn't home. We then walked to Sammoy's house. When we showed up She was kinda scared because her husband doesn't like us coming over. So we set up a time to walk with them to church. I hope he softens his heart towards the church...

Sunday was President Pearson's last day. He flew out that afternoon. We also had Stake Conference that day. Elder Alonzo was there and Victor Nugent. I shook hands with Victor. He is the first Jamaican to join the church! Afterwards we went to the Macpherson's to have lunch. Then we went home to have studies.

We got to listen to Elder Alozo speak about his mission. It was cool to hear his mission story. I am truly grateful for my mission! I am glad I have been able to see and help so many people change!

I love you guys!

Week 82

Hey guys!

Sorry about last week. I forgot my planner and I didn't have too much time so I just uploaded pictures from our hike on Monday!

Monday we went on a hike and, like I said, I uploaded pictures. After the rest of the P-Day activities we had a great lesson with the Green Family. They were awesome!

Tuesday we were supposed to have a lesson with Racquel before we had service for the Copeland's but she wasn't home so we had lunch then went to the Copeland's. They wanted us to clean up their yard because Brother Copeland just had surgery and Sister Copeland is missing her leg so they can't do it. After all of that we went home, showered, then headed back out to see Quadre and Omari. We just taked about prophets and the Priesthood and how it is only in the Church and that every one who is baptized by anyone not holding that authority is not baptized properly! It was really cool to see it click in their minds!

Wednesday morning we had District Meeting. that evening we saw Sister Lewis and her daughter Andrika. We read 3 Nephi 11 with them and talked about all of the doctrine in that chapter. We were supposed to see Collaine after them but she wasn't home so we ended up teaching the Plan of Salvation to her sister, Ginelyne.

Thursday we were supposed to see Ginelyne again but she wasn't home. we had lunch then went to the Robinson's who fed us as well. On our way to another members house we passed by the Pearson's and they called us and offered to buy us Wendies for dinner! So nice of them! Then we went and got some soup to take home from the member!

Friday was Weekly Planning. After lunch we went on a trade off with the Zone leaders for a little bit and I got to go with Elder Anderton again to see a man named Marlon. He is really cool! He is trying so hard to follow Heavenly Father right now! We had an awesome lesson on the Book of Mormon because that was what he really wanted to know. Afterwards we went to Friday NightActivities.

Saturday morning after studies and everything we had a little mishap with the water in our washing machine so we spent that morning cleaning up water and moping the whole house and everything like that. After that we took lunch and comp studies then went to see Deltroy but he wasn't home. We headed back to the church for the Zone Leader's Baptism! It was awesome! That night after we got home I chef-ed up some soup! It was awesome!

Sunday was my birthday! 20 years old! We went to church then afterwards we went and gave the Sacrament to President Pearson in the hospital. We then went to the McPherson's for dinner. After we got back we took studies and then tried to see Andrika but she wasn't home.

I am truly grateful for everything that has happened in my life up till this point! I have learned so much from a ton of different people! I don't know what I would do with out my Heavenly Father and Savior though. I thank God Every day for everyone that has a role in my life.

Thank you every one who is reading this if you have had a role in my life!

Love you guys!
